  • Matters Counseling and Consulting specializes in working with leaders, including executives, community leaders, and helping professionals. The focus is on supporting those facing interpersonal, intrapersonal, or professional challenges, burnout, or high-pressure decision-making situations. Services include therapeutic coaching and leadership development aimed at fostering growth and resilience.

  • Insurance is not accepted. Matters Counseling and Consulting primarily focuses on highly confidential, tailored therapeutic coaching for leaders. We will not focus on the traditional diagnosis and symptom management offered in a traditional mental health practice. However, you can inquire about any specific arrangements for services.

  • You will need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet with video conferencing capabilities, and a private space where you can engage in virtual sessions without distractions. The platform for sessions includes video conferencing tools similar to that of Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

  • To prepare, reflect on the challenges you’re currently facing—whether personal, professional, or interpersonal and what you hope to see changed and/or what you hope to accomplish through our work together. You can discuss topics such as leadership struggles, decision-making under pressure, burnout, or organizational dynamics. The sessions are designed to help you explore solutions and build resilience while navigating complex situations toward realizing your personal vision.

  • To reschedule, simply reach out via email or through the scheduling platform used by Matters Counseling and Consulting. Advance notice is appreciated to accommodate your scheduling needs.

  • Cancellations should be made with at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged for the session. This allows the time to be offered to someone else who may need it.
